April Theme: Foundations of Spirit: Discovering the Divine Within
Week 3 Value: What It Does
Affirmation: I open to greater and greater Good in my life now!

Curriculum Overview:

In Week 3, youth and teens explore how spiritual principles actively shape their experiences. Building on the understanding that Spirit is everywhere and works through alignment, this week focuses on how our thoughts act as a bridge—drawing from infinite possibility into lived experience.

Through an engaging “Good Magnet Game” and a reflective Gratitude Circle, participants discover that what they focus on grows. By choosing thoughts rooted in gratitude, kindness, and possibility, they begin to experience more of those qualities in their lives.

Spiritual Lesson:

Infinite intelligence and possibility are always present, but our thoughts determine what we experience from that infinite field.

Youth explore the idea that thoughts are creative—they act like magnets, attracting experiences that match their focus. When they focus on what is going well, what they appreciate, and what is possible, they naturally begin to see more of that reflected back to them.

This lesson emphasizes empowerment: while we may not control everything around us, we can choose where we place our attention—and that choice has the power to expand the good in our lives.

Spiritual Practice: Good Magnet Game & Gratitude Circle

Youth begin with the Good Magnet Game, where they “attract” positive experiences by naming thoughts such as gratitude, courage, kindness, or joy. As they play, they observe how shifting their focus changes the tone and outcome of the activity.

Following the game, youth participate in a Gratitude Circle, sharing something good in their lives. This may include a person, experience, or simple moment of appreciation.

Connecting: Gratitude Circle

Youth complete the sentence: “Something good in my life is…”

Group Response: “And I am grateful.”
