Calling All Youth Musicians!

Youth & Family is gearing up for our Christmas celebrations and invites young talents of all ages to share their musical gifts. If you play an instrument, sing, or have a musical talent you’d love to showcase, let Adrienne know! Join us in creating a joyful and festive music experience this Christmas season.

Curriculum Overview:

Youth will explore the power of thought and belief as the foundation for creating their lives, learning how to “stand on solid air” by aligning with timeless spiritual principles. Through engaging activities like a “Thought Flow Experiment” and a creative visioning exercise, they will see how their beliefs shape their experiences.

December Monthly Theme: Sticking the Landing
Week 1 Value: Standing on Solid Air
Affirmation: “I ride the flow of my thoughts with clarity and confidence, knowing they shape my path with ease and grace.”

Spiritual Lesson:

Youth gain tools to recognize the Divine in all things, align with positive beliefs and consciously direct the flow of their lives with intention and confidence. They explore the idea that everything is created twice: first in thought and then in form. They explain that what we focus on and believe shapes our experiences.

Mindfulness: Youth are guided to visualize themselves standing on a sturdy platform of supportive thoughts and beliefs.

Active Listening: Book/Music/Video

Book: Living the Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes

Music: “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield

Creative Expression: “Solid Air Experiment”

Youth Demonstrate how unseen forces (like thoughts and beliefs) create results. They use simple objects like feathers, balloons, or bubbles to explore how focused intention can guide energy and outcomes. This engaging activity illustrates the concept that thoughts, though unseen, are powerful tools for shaping life’s flow.

Connecting: “Thought Surfing Obstacle Course”

Navigate a fun and interactive course, overcoming challenges that represent limiting beliefs or distracting thoughts. Through mindful focus and creative problem-solving, they practice “surfing” the flow of their thoughts to stay aligned with positive outcomes and their desired direction.
