What is meant by, “Efficient” charitable gifting?

Efficient charitable gifting is about maximizing both the gifts to your favorite charities, AND the retention of your after-tax dollars.  If you are making charitable gifts with money from your checking or savings account, you are most likely not taking advantage of efficient gifting strategies, such as Donor Advised Funds, Qualified Charitable Donations, and more.In addition to looking at these tools and strategies to improve the efficiency of your charitable gifting, we will also explore our “inside the box” thinking and how to overcome some of those paradigms which may exist.
