Rev. David Alexander, DD Bio
Rev. David was raised in New Thought and had a profound spiritual awakening at age 13, after which he dedicated his life to helping others.
In 2004, David co-founded the New Thought Center for Spiritual Living in Lake Oswego, OR, and served as its Senior Minister for 15 years, followed by 7 years as Spiritual Director of the Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta. (He also taught at Holmes Institute, including while our Rev. David was a student.)
He is a social justice activist, and has served on several boards and councils of social justice organizations. He also writes the monthly column – ‘Philosophy in Action’ – for Science of Mind magazine and received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from the Centers for Spiritual Living in 2014.
Rev. David has served on the leadership councils for both the Centers for Spiritual Living and the Association for Global New Thought.
His most recent projects include his first book “Freedom from Discord: The Promise of New Thought Liberation Theology”
