February Theme: Interbeing, Belonging, and the Power of Love
Week 3 Value: Ripples: The Art of Mindful Living
Affirmation: I am ever mindful of the ways my lifeforce ripples out into the world.
Curriculum Overview
This week invites youth and teens to notice how their inner world shapes their outer experience. Through playful movement, observation, and creativity, youth explore how thoughts, emotions, and habits create ripples that affect others. They learn that mindfulness isn’t about being perfect—it’s about becoming aware and choosing with care.
Spiritual Lesson
Every action begins with an inner state. Youth explore how assumptions, moods, and beliefs—often unnoticed—shape how they show up in relationships and situations. This lesson emphasizes that awareness creates choice. When youth slow down and notice what’s happening inside, they gain the power to respond intentionally rather than react automatically. Even small shifts can create meaningful change.
Spiritual Practice: Ripple Awareness Pause
Youth are guided through a brief mindful pause to notice their breath, body, and current emotions. They are invited to reflect silently: What kind of ripple am I sending right now? This practice helps youth experience mindfulness as a tool they can use anytime to reset, refocus, and choose with intention.

Creative Expression: Ripple Art Maps
Youth create visual “Ripple Maps,” drawing themselves at the center and illustrating how their words, actions, and attitudes ripple outward. Younger youth use colors and symbols; older youth label behaviors and outcomes. This activity reinforces that inner awareness shapes real-world impact.
Connecting: Group Ripple Game
Youth name one way they can practice seeing with the eyes of Love at home, school, or with friends. This closing connection reinforces that relationships grow when we choose presence, empathy, and understanding.
