The theme of the 2024 Winter Teen Camp is “Keep Dreaming Forward.” January 12th -15th, our teen advisor, Ocean Laura, will be going to Camp Cedar Ridge to support teens ages 13-18. Curriculum Overview
Throughout January, we will delve into the core essence of “A Grand Rising,” exploring the power of faith, the courage to lead, and the magic that happens when we move with intentional action. We begin our new year objective to inspire and empower youth to embrace daily intentions and the power of positive thought.

Spiritual Lesson: The Grand Rising Adventure Awaits!
“A Grand Rising” exploring the power of faith, the courage to lead, and the magic that happens when we move with intentional action. This expedition of the spirit is an odyssey of self-discovery and a celebration of collective growth. The world is ready for the light we carry, and together, we shall illuminate the path to a brighter, more harmonious future.
Active Listening: Book/Music/Video
Story: Reading about three youths from a homeless shelter and their use of “A Grand Rising.”

Creative Expression: Vision Board Creation
Youth create their vision boards with a mindset of creativity and self-expression, incorporating elements related to personal growth, dreams, and intentions.
Connecting/Spiritual Practice: Sharing Intentions
We will invite youth to break into small groups to discuss the Power of Intention, Starting Anew, and creating a Whole New World. We will share our progress on our vision boards and what elements demonstrate one or more of these discussion points.
