Sunday Talk: Turning Conflicts into Connection, 8-23-26
This month we explore the significance of fear and fury (anger) in our spiritual development. It is perfectly normal to feel intense emotions at times. We like it when we experience intense joy or pleasure. But we can get scared of feeling fear and anger. When we can see these as energies that are moving through us, we can ride them toward places we want to go, rather than letting them run over us.
Book Recommendation: Brené Brown, “Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts.”
REV. CARRIE MASTERS, SPEAKING
Engaging curiosity and vulnerability opens up new possibilities to strengthen relationships. But we might have to let go of needing to be “right!”

Brent and LaVon give us brave music this Sunday.
Buffie Finkel, RScP, will lead the pre-service meditation.
