Sunday Talk: Fierce Clarity: When Fear becomes a Compass, 8-9-26

This month we explore the significance of fear and fury (anger) in our spiritual development. It is perfectly normal to feel intense emotions at times. We like it when we experience intense joy or pleasure. But we can get scared of feeling fear and anger. When we can see these as energies that are moving through us, we can ride them toward places we want to go, rather than letting them run over us.

Book Recommendation: Brené Brown, “Dare to Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts.”

This week, we explore the idea that fear, rather than being something to avoid, might be trying to help us. What if fear isn’t a warning, but a doorway to clarity?

Brent and Rachel Williamson give us music for guidance this Sunday.

Rev. David will lead the pre-service meditation.
