What to Expect on Your Visit

WHAT TO EXPECT INSIDE THE BUILDING: We have two classrooms for our youth to the left and right of the entry hall. Please register your child in the room to the right. The kitchen is straight ahead, and various conversational seating areas are in between. The Newcomer and Information tables are to the left. We have 3 Restrooms (3 unisex, including one ADA) to the rear of the room. There is also a large video monitor in the far-right corner, which will broadcast the service.

In the Sanctuary, we have beautiful teal chairs. A few will be set up towards the back with extra space for those who will be more comfortable with social distancing.

The Practitioner corner is to the left inside the sanctuary entrance, and the sound booth is to the right. There will be a camera on a tripod and a person operating it during the service for our live stream. If you don’t want to be seen on camera, sit away from the camera. Because we’re live streaming the service (which means it will be available online through YouTube), everyone entering is automatically agreeing to be on our live stream broadcast.

TIMING: The Practitioner-led meditation will begin at 10:30 am sharp in the sanctuary for 15 minutes. Please Note – Once the meditation begins at 10:30 am, doors to the sanctuary will be closed to maintain the peaceful silence in the room — no exceptions. Please be on time for meditation.

Sanctuary doors will reopen at 10:45 am for seating. Prelude music will begin a few minutes before service which starts at 11:00.

HEALTH & SAFETY: We plan to start off by trusting everyone’s self-care. Bring hand sanitizer if you desire (and we have some here too). We have air scrubbers in each section of the building. Masks are always welcome but not required. If, for some reason, that doesn’t work out, we’ll follow future safety protocols recommended by health agencies.

NOTE: Only licensed Service animals are allowed inside CSL Olympia sanctuary or fellowship hall.
