April Workshop: The Ever-Evolving Christ

The fourth and last of our explorations takes place on April 26th, titled “The Ever-Evolving Christ.” Ernest Holmes defines the Christ as “the Universal Idea of Sonship, of which each is a member.” This Christ is our Divine Nature, the Word made flesh.” Often, due to misuse and abuse by religions that have misunderstood and forgotten the real nature of the Christ and of Jesus, we throw the baby out with the bath water. We cut ourselves off from considering anything about Christ or Jesus. But what if there’s something deeper to be explored here? What if we come to understand Christ and Jesus as our own highest nature? This workshop is about crossing that border of fear and old ideas to look with new eyes at the Life that is our freedom, not through sticking someone up on a pedestal and worshipping, but by recognizing him as ourselves and following and living as the Christ. “For when we see him as he truly is, we will be like him.” (1 John 3:2)
