Outdoor Adventure Group
If you enjoy going for walks, hikes, garden tours, and more, Crystal Vernon and Beth Thompson invite you to join them on various outdoor adventures for all fitness levels. We have a few planned outings for September, keeping in mind our fall weather in the Northwest!
Here is the schedule for upcoming events:
Lacey’s new Cuoio Park, Sunday, September 6 – The city’s soon-to-be largest park of 537 acres has opened phase 1A, which includes 139 acres and 3 miles of trails through the forest.
Lakewold Gardens, Friday, September 11 – “Friday drop-in tour”. A historic 10-acre estate on the shores of Gravelly Lake featuring formal and natural garden settings. The $15 guided tour is from 11:15 am- 12:45 pm. Total walking distance is about 1 mile. The cost includes admission, so we can stay afterward and explore on our own.
Tumwater Falls, Thursday, September 24 – Come walk the approximate 1-mile loop at Tumwater Falls and view the amazing Chinook salmon spawning.
