Nourishing Our Community Events, 2026

What is the Nourishing Our Community (NOC) FUNdraiser all about?

First of all, it isn’t just all about dinners, though there are glorious dinners! The CSLO community likes to eat AND PLAY – and why not? These are great ways to share time together. Food isn’t the only way we nourish ourselves, so there are other fun events. The hosted events will run to the end of this year and 100% of the proceeds go to the Center. Join in on the fun and connect with others!

Nourishing Our Community Bidding Information

Bidding Dates

  • Sunday, March 29th
  • Sunday, April 5th
  • Sunday, April 12nd

BIDDING ENDS AT 1PM ON APRIL 12th

Let’s use this Example to explain how bidding works.

Dorian’s Event is a gourmet dinner at their house and they will make dinner for a maximum of 8 people.

This event is open to a maximum of 8 guests and the opening minimum bid is $20.00.  The first 8 bidders will each bid $20.00.

From this point, bids increase by $2.00 each, so the 9th bidder will pay $22.00, the 10th bidder $24.00 and so on. You don’t have to worry about calculating the amounts because we have already put the amounts in the bid sheets.

If you are one of the original bidders and are outbid, you can rebid on the next available line and keep rebidding until the last day of bidding.

The Winning bidders, from our example, are the highest 8 bidders since there is a maximum of 8 seats.

Rules

Bid only for yourself, unless someone not present has asked you to bid for them. Each bid is per person, not per couple.

Agreement

Your bid is a contract, meaning each bid is final and binding.

If you cannot attend an event that you have won and paid for, it is your responsibility to find a replacement by either gifting or selling your spot.

However, if there is a waiting list you can contact the Host and you can check in with the cslolyoffice@gmail.com to get the names of the next highest bidders to try sell your spot or gift it to someone.

Paying for your events

You will be notified by email following the closing of the auction and will be given a link to pay online for your event.  Please pay by May 10th.

Note: Our earliest events are on April 25th and May 5th, we ask that winners of those events pay prior to attending the event.

Here are the scheduled events:
